In August of 2018 we decided to try renting our garage apartment through airbnb.  As we have had such bad  luck with renters, we wanted a change of course.  So far this has worked out well. When Covid came upon us we decided to suspend this for a while as I did not want to take any chance of anyone getting sick if at all possible.  But now after extensive renovations I have decided to again participate in this endeavor.  We  have met many very nice people who tell they enjoyed their stay here.

I first got the idea from an article about a "farm stay" and did not know what that was.  After doing some research it sounded like something we could do here and airbnb makes it easy doing the bookings and collections for us.  This has allowed us to have a small source of income while not being too labor intensive.  I am enjoying meeting new people.

Please check it out and see if this is something you might like to try and come stay with us.

This is the entrance to our upstairs garage apartment.  If it is dark when you arrive I will turn on the light for you.

These are two pictures of the living room.  Sofa, love seat and recliner make up the furnishings.  Plenty of room for an air mattress if you need more sleeping room.

The  next two pictures are of the very spacious kitchen.  Table with leaf and eating counter.   Also plenty of counter room for food prep if you choose.  It  is fully furnished with cooking pots and pans as well as table settings.

The bedroom has a queen size bed and also a double size bed.  There is ample dresser storage and closet.

There is a back balcony off the kitchen to view much of the farm.  Most often some of the farm animals are found grazing in the pastures.

Guests can roam the farm being sure to close gates behind them.   Also two picnic tables available if needed for outdoor eating and activities.
